Studios at 475 Main – walkthrough

Open Plan Art Studios for Rent

Beautiful second-floor, open-concept art studios for rent in Chinatown.

There are 3 studios for rent at 475 Main Street in Chinatown. These studios are housed in a large, sunny, shared former office space. The studios are open to each other but artists can bring bookshelves or whatever they want to partition their unit. Would also be ideal for a group of friends wanting to share the space. Every unit has its own electrical outlet and some are on the window side and some are on the wall side, so you just need to choose whichever suits you best. Studios range in price from $450 to $780. The space also includes an exhibition space that can be shared by all tenants. It can also be used to host events, so there is some earning potential.

Studio A  – $500
Studio D – $450
Studio E – $500

Something to note:

475 Main houses several doctor’s offices, artist studios, an interior design firm, a seamstress and a wonderful charity called Working Gear. The building tenants have a great rapport and check in on and visit each other’s spaces regularly. It’s very social and very community-oriented. It’s also quieter than you’d think!

Some of the perks:

  • Fully heated and air-conditioned
  • Keyless entry pad with your own dedicated code.
  • Dedicated front door code for monitoring.
  • Polished concrete floors.
  • White walls.
  • Large industrial sink.
  • Available to artists 24 hrs.
  • Wifi in the space.
  • Within the Culture Crawl catchment and is already listed in their directory.

Chinatown is a vibrant and bustling community full of great food and people. You will love it here!
